I dreamed about Jesus last night

He was surrounded by a beautiful light

The message he brought and the lesson he taught

Was of salvation and light

I dreamed about Jesus last night

As He stood there by my bed

I heard every word that he said

All about love that comes from above

To teach us how to live right

I dreamed about Jesus last night

He said that he died for you and me

That all of our sins were all set free

He said Zion would come and we could live as one

That His Father would show us his might

I dreamed about Jesus last night

The love of His Father showed in his face

The prints in his hands were still in place

I was striped of my pride by the whole in his side

I thought what a beautiful sight

I dreamed about Jesus last night

As He left me there in a humble state

I knew for salvation is wasn’t too late

I’ll repent this I know before it’s time to go

For I have seen that great light
